Service Policies

• Meet & Greet — is required before your pet's first booking.  This allows us to meet, discuss your pet's needs and routines, fill out required paperwork, and make sure we are a good fit before services begin.

• Scheduling & Drop-Off/Pick-Up Times — For in-home pet sitting, a specific drop-off and pick-up time is required when booking.  To provide the best care and maintain a smooth, safe environment for all my clients, please arrive as close to your scheduled drop-off or pick-up time as possible.  I often have other pets arriving or leaving shortly before or after your scheduled time.  If you need to change your drop-off or pick-up time, please contact me in advance so I can confirm that the new time works with my schedule and other clients' appointments.

• In-Home Pet Sitting Scheduling Fees & Transfers — A $50 scheduling fee per pet is required to reserve the requested services and dates. Services and dates are not guaranteed until the scheduling fee has been received.  The scheduling fee will be applied toward the final balance for your scheduled services.  Scheduling fees may be transferred to a future booking if the Pet Owner provides at least fourteen (14) days' notice before the start date of services.  Because I only care for one client's pets at a time, this notice allows me the opportunity to secure a replacement booking for the dates being released.  Requests to transfer a service fee are subject to availability and must be used within six (6) months of the original booking date. Holiday service fees or holiday bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Drop-In Visits, Dog Walking & Pet Taxi Scheduling Fees & Transfers — A $25 scheduling fee per pet is required to reserve the requested services and dates. Services and dates are not guaranteed until the scheduling fee has been received.  The scheduling fee will be applied toward the final balance for your scheduled services.  Scheduling fees may be transferred to a future booking if the Pet Owner provides at least three (3) days' notice before the start date of services.  Requests to transfer a service fee are subject to availability and must be used within six (6) months of the original booking date. Holiday service fees or holiday bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Payment Options — Payment is accepted by cash or Venmo.  Cash payments are not subject to a service fee.  A 2.5% service fee will be added to payments made through Venmo.  

• Vaccination Requirements — Proof of current, required vaccinations must be provided before services can be rendered.  Vaccination records must remain current for the duration of the scheduled services.

In-Home Boarding Services (in my home)

• I only care for one client’s pet(s) at a time in my home.  Each pet will wear an AirTag during their stay.  While I have not lost a pet, I believe in staying prepared and one step ahead - their safety and well-being are always my top priority.

• Nightly rates are based on a 24-hour period from drop-off to pick-up.  If the pick-up time on the final day exceeds the drop-off time on the first day, the following extended care fees apply per pet:

o    0-6 additional hours: +50% of the nightly rate.

o    More than six (6) additional hours: +100% of the nightly rate.

Medication Administration Fees:

o   Oral = $5 per day / per pet.  

o   Ear drops/ear cleaning = $10 per day / per pet.

Drop-In Visit

Dog Walking

Pet Taxi Services

Holiday Surcharge | +20%  on all charges

• Transportation fees to vet or groomer pick-up or drop-off only (within 5 miles from Client’s residence) = $40

• Transportation services requiring travel beyond five (5) miles from the Client’s residence shall incur an  additional charge of Two Dollars ($2.00) per mile for each mile traveled in excess of the initial five (5) miles.  For round-trip transportation services, mileage charges shall be calculated based on the total round-trip distance traveled between the Client’s residence and the destination.

• For one-way transportation services, mileage charges shall be calculated based on the one-way distance from the Client’s residence to the destination.

• Additional waiting time charges may apply if an appointment exceeds its scheduled duration or if PET CARE SERVICES BY PATTY, LLC is required to wait beyond the agreed-upon pickup or drop-off time. Additional waiting time shall be billed at a rate of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each fifteen (15) minute increment, or any portion thereof. Waiting time charges will be billed as follows and added to the final invoice, which shall be due upon receipt:

• 1–15 minutes waiting time = $10.00

• 16–30 minutes waiting time = $20.00

• 31–45 minutes waiting time = $30.00

• 46–60 minutes waiting time = $40.00
